All media attending the LNG16 must be officially accredited for the event.
The procedure for accreditation is as follows:
- You must submit your accreditation request to the Algerian diplomatic or consular representation of the country where your employer has its headquarters.
- For accreditation you will need to present the following documents:
1) The accreditation form (click download here) duly completed (2 copies).
2) If you are bringing equipment please complete the equipment form (click here to download).
3) A written application letter from your employer.
4) A copy of your press ID
5) Two photos
- The accreditation is issued to journalists working as special correspondents for the duration of 7 days, which is renewable.

Event Coverage
Unauthorised broadcasting means:
- FLY WAY (Mobile satellite station – hand carried in a bag)
- Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) Station (Satellite station on vehicle)
Broadcasting equipments supplied by the Algerian Broadcast for the event coverage:
- Local broadcasting network through Radio Link
- FLY WAY in KU tape
- Fixed satellite station in KU tape and C on the following satellites :
- ARABSAT –ASBU 30° East (2B)
- NSS7 21° ,5 West (2B)
- W3A- EUTELSAT at 7°(UER)
- Foreign channels journalists are allowed to proceed with simultaneous broadcasts up to seven (07) simultaneous signals.
